Bio

Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa in a multi-lingual home, grandson to a sculptor and son of an engineer, Dino's path was laid out for him to always find a way to combine both art and science.

Dino treats every story with respect and honours it through modern visual storytelling. His ability to mould light has captivated audiences in a body of work that transcends style and theme. Dino is technically adaptable and his ability to communicate clearly with directors and their vision is driving his career in narrative and commercials alike.

Dino is incredibly passionate and his appreciation for the craft is infectious and refreshing.

Dino was just 27 years old when he became a full member of the SASC, the youngest at the time. Recently Dino has been included in the Loeries top 10 Cinematographers list and won a SAFTA for "Hotel" Season 5.

Dino lensed "Parable" in 2020, which won best feature film at the New Orleans International Horror Film Festival. "Daryn's Gym" Which screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam and most recently "Catch Me a Killer" which has been selected as part of the International Panorama at Series Mania 2024.
